DEPARTMENT : Quality RESPONSIBLE TO : Head of Quality SALARY: £38k - 40k depending on experience/competence At Apprentify we take quality very seriously which is why we achieved our grade 1 outstanding in September 2022. Quality and learner experience is key to driving the business forward. Our drive into the digital, tech and sales apprenticeships has been key to our success. This role will be to ensure that this silo of apprenticeships perform to the very best they can be. We also want to launch more programmes across our employers and this role will be working with the curriculum and delivery teams to ensure that they are the very best on the market. The requirement to drive Quality across the company is paramount. The post holder will be responsible for timely sampling, Development Coach (DC) support and meeting AO, mock assessments and EPAO requirements for apprentices on programme. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Timely desktop sampling (using Bud Systems) following the company sampling strategy with rich and impactful developmental feedback Deliver, monitor, and evaluate DC/Tutor CPD requirements (remote and face to face) following the Quality Framework and provide feedback and action planning Supporting and developing curriculum and assets across the digital sector Deep dives and assessment of every area of the delivery Conduct apprentice and employer interviews as per sampling strategy Conduct quality assurance sampling of our curriculum e-learning and resources Conduct timely observations of teaching and learning in line with the teaching and learning policy Conduct timely EPA activity with apprentices and employers (where relevant) once triggered by DCs Maintain active support and guidance for DCs Actively support and monitor all Quality improvement activity through our live Quality Improvement Plan Contribute to all Self-Assessment and Quality Improvement processes Keep up to date with any industry and curriculum changes Work with the Head of Quality to plan and lead on any relevant external/accreditation visits Attend and lead (when relevant) developmental/standardisation/team meetings or training sessions Complete any CPD requirement as directed by the business and/or your line manager KEY OUTCOMES TO BE MEASURED (KPI’S) Maintain a sampling plan and ensure all planned samples are carried out in a timely manner Conduct DC observations and support Provide robust oral and written feedback to DCs that leads to timely apprentice completions Develop DCs to excel in their operational activity, delivery and overall customer experience Ensure all IQA practice meets Awarding Organisation/End Point Assessment Organisation expectations Facilitate standardisation meetings/training sessions as per Apprentify Annual Quality and Curriculum Planner Ensure Bud Systems is fully utilised to manage and monitor learner progress Facilitate Mock End-Point Assessments for all apprentices EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE Essential: Competence and experience IQA’ing within Experience of delivering Apprenticeship Standards and facilitating Mock End-point Assessments Experience in observations of teaching and learning, and coaching Proven track record of raising standards of delivery, developing staff and leading EQA visits Sound knowledge of Ofsted and the Education Inspection Framework Desirable: Experience of using bksb and Cogn Assist Experience of using ePortfolios (Bud Systems ) and Learning Management Systems Achieved English, Maths and ICT Functional Skills at Level 2 Benefits: Nest Pension Scheme Increasing holiday entitlement based on length of service Your birthday off One paid 'charity day' per year - take time from work to benefit others Option to buy additional annual leave Access to 'The Loop' - our exclusive platform where you can find over 700 retail discounts from groceries to holidays Private Medical Insurance, including dental and optician plan Work laptop and other IT equipment Expenses paid
