Job Title: Lead Warehouse Trainer

Location: Erith

Pay Rate: £16.15 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday , must be flexible to do shifts 06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00/22:00-06:00 due to trainings

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Warehouse Trainer to join one of our clients based in Erith area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing training operations within the warehouse environment, ensuring that all staff are well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. This position requires a strong background in warehouse operations, materials handling, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Duties

· Induction Training: Overseeing the induction process and providing induction training to new colleagues on site.

· Practical Training: Conduct practical sessions to provide a high standard of technical training to support the warehouse operation including LLOPs, FLTs, Powered Pump Trucks (PPTs), and other MHE being used on site.

· Health & Safety: Ensure all colleagues and trainers are trained and adhere to onsite and machine health and safety regulations and guidelines.

· Proactive Approach: Support with the delivery of additional training and refresher training of colleagues as and when required.

· Support: Provide ongoing support throughout inductions and practical training using the correct assessments and evaluations.

· Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Senior Managers and trainers to ensure all onsite training requirements are covered across all shifts.

Successful candidate will need:

- Valid FLT/MHE License

- Ability to learn quickly, and to work on your own initiative

- Management skills

- Computer literate

- Able to demonstrate leadership qualities

- Data Entry / Administrative Experience

- Excellent communication skills

- Proven track record of being able to achieve performance targets

- High level of attention to detail

- Able to work organized and maintain training records to a high level of accuracy
