We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Learning & Development Consultant to join our growing team at Barrington James. In this pivotal role, you’ll design and deliver impactful training programs for consultants at all levels—from new starters to senior consultants. Learning & Development Consultant – Barrington James

Location: 2nd Floor, The Galleria, Station Road, Crawley RH10 1WW UK

What You’ll Be Doing:

Deliver in-person training programs for new hires, consultants, and senior consultants.
Lead sessions on recruitment best practices, sales techniques, and business development strategies.
Work closely with leadership to identify skill gaps and implement targeted learning solutions.
Travel to our UK offices (Essex, Birmingham, Glasgow) to deliver training and support teams onsite.
Monitor training effectiveness and adjust programs to meet evolving business needs.
Act as a mentor and coach, encouraging continuous improvement and high performance.

What We’re Looking For:

Recruitment Experience: Minimum of 2 years, ideally up to senior consultant level, with business development experience.
Training Experience: Preferred but not essential—what matters is your passion for helping others grow and your ability to engage and inspire.
Sales Knowledge: Strong understanding of recruitment sales techniques and strategies.
Communication Skills: Confident and engaging presenter with the ability to motivate and energize.
Flexibility: Willing to travel regularly to our UK offices and work onsite full-time.
Organizational Skills: Able to manage multiple programs and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
