Job: Supply Teaching Assistant

Location: Oldham

Pay: Between £425 – £450 per week dependent on experience

About the Role

Connex Education are working with a primary schools in Oldham.

I am looking for budding or Qualified Teaching Assistants to join my team of staff. The role flexible around you and you can choose the days you work!

You will be expected to fulfill the role of a full time Teaching Assistant when in our schools and the working hours are 8:30 – 15:30 in a primary school setting.

You would be expected to fulfill the following responsibilities:

Support the class teacher with completing daily tasks
Support children individually or in groups
Deliver smaller intervention sessions to groups of children
Potentially support at lunchtime on duty

Pay scale is dependent on experience and level of qualification, this will be discussed upon interview.

Person Specification

Experience with children that have additional needs in the classroom
Hold a valid Level 1, 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Be confident in building effective working relationships with adults and pupils
Excellent ICT skills
Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
Have experience working with SEND children or willing to do so
