About the role

As a Quality Assurance Practitioner on our apprenticeship programme, you'll engage proactively in your personal and professional development journey. You'll gain hands-on experience across various departments within EAL, expanding your understanding of our awarding organisation operations and preparing you for the independent assessment(s) at the end of your apprenticeship.

Your development journey

During your apprenticeship, you'll work with different quality assurance functions across EAL which will support your training and prepare you for future Quality Assurance roles. You'll build strong relationships with our customers, and internal and external stakeholders, understanding their business objectives and using customer service skills to support EAL as their preferred Awarding Organisation.

About the Team

Quality Assurance within EAL (part of the Enginuity Group) is essential in delivering exceptional service to our customers by ensuring our products and services align to their need while adhering to all regulatory requirements and quality standards. This involves using product and customer information to develop strategic plans to support EAL and its customers to remain compliant, which will contribute to EAL maintaining a low-risk rating with the regulators we work with.

What you’ll be doing

As a Quality Assurance Practitioner on our apprenticeship programme, you will immerse yourself in a variety of developmental activities across EAL business departments (Internal Quality Assurance, External Quality Assurance and Product), gaining a comprehensive understanding of our operations, policies and processes.

Your core training will include supporting the quality of our products through their lifecycle, supporting the quality assurance of our centres, and ensuring the quality of our end point assessment service.

You'll serve as a crucial liaison between EAL and its customers, building and nurturing strong relationships by understanding their business objectives, needs, and challenges. Utilising your customer service skills, you will support and drive business growth, ensuring EAL remains the Awarding Organisation of choice. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues across the Enginuity group and external customers on projects, leveraging your knowledge, skills and experiences to contribute meaningfully and add value to our operations.

We’re unable to support UK relocation or to sponsor a visa for this role. Apprenticeship funding rules state that Apprentices must have been in the UK for 3 years and have a right to work for the duration of the apprenticeship, including end-point assessment (20 months in total).
