We have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team as an Assistant Principal. This role offers the opportunity to play a lead role in the success and development of the college. This is your opportunity to help shape our journey as we work together to grow and build a fantastic team and a kind, hardworking environment for our curious learners.

The Opportunity:

Work with an experienced leadership team with links in local and national leadership projects
Contribute to the overall leadership and management of the Academy
Actively promote our visions and values and supporting our ethos for achievement for all and high standards.
Provide strong professional advice to promote the Trust brand
Work closely with the Trust Executive Board and Senior Management Team

The Ideal Candidate - will be able to demonstrate impact and leadership in their career. We are more focused on the skills and experiences of candidates rather than an ability to fit a specific role.

Successful teaching experience in an age 3 to 19 environment
Commitment to and evidence of continuous improvement and one’s own professional development.
Excellent track record of pupil outcomes and leading a successful department/team.
Be a team player, with a ‘can do’ solution-focused attitude with the confidence to see opportunities for action and take them.
Possess outstanding communication skills and personal integrity.
Successfully and effectively use comparative data for benchmarking target setting and monitoring to improve pupil outcomes.
Understanding and significant experience in the work of external agencies.
The interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and professionally with staff, pupils, parents and others.
