Every journey in the world is positively influenced by us.We are a very diverse organisation and, since our acquisition by HORIBA in 2015, operate from an increasingly global perspective.Product Design & Development Engineer Degree Apprenticeship Sep 2025We are looking to recruit a number of candidates to become future engineers who can solve real-world problems using a combination of mechanical and electrical engineering expertise.In partnership with the University of Coventry, our Product Design & Development Engineer Degree Apprenticeship combines university on-campus teaching (delivered as block release), and on-the-job training provided by our own technicians and engineers, where you will gain a wide range of experiences across various business areas.Successful apprentices will be awarded both a Level 6 Product Design & Development Engineer Apprenticeship Certificate and a BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering Design degree . You will join our network of apprentices, including being guided by those who are already further ahead on this programme.We are recruiting in the Design Integration business area across our main site in Nuneaton.Working at MIRAWe have a fantastic culture, which is something that inspires and retains our people. Soft skills are just as important as technical skills, and so we look for candidates who can demonstrate key attributes such as customer focus, communication, teamworking, creativity and resilience.Entry Requirements:Applicants should possess:

A full UK driving licence.
Grade 4 (equiv. grade C) or above in GCSE English Language (or equivalent)
Grade 4 (equiv. grade C) or above in GCSE Mathematics (or equivalent)

and either

3 A-levels at grade C or above, of which two must be A-Level Maths (or equivalent) and a Science subject. A-levels which will not be accepted are Citizenship Skills, General Studies and Critical Thinking.

Level 3 or extended Diploma, Advanced Apprenticeship, BTEC Level 3 or T-level (Merit grade or above).
