Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Engineering Senior Lecturer to join our academic team (college) and support the Curriculum Manager. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education. This position requires strong people skills and the ability to effectively communicate with others.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging teaching sessions and practical sessions on engineering topics.
Develop and update course materials to ensure relevance and alignment with industry standards.
Mentor and support students in their academic pursuits, providing guidance on projects and assessments.
Conduct research in the field of engineering, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and practice.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and promote interdisciplinary learning.
Participate in departmental meetings and other administrative duties as required.
Maintain an organised approach to teaching.

Requirements

A relevant qualification in Engineering or a closely related field (Minimum Level 3) - Essential
Teaching Qualification or be willing to work towards - Desirable
Maths and English - Level 2 or equivalent - Essential
Experience in some areas such as CNC, PLC, CAD, Robotics, Machinist, Electrical, welding
A passion for teaching and a can do attitude.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
Strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Proficiency in IT tools and platforms used for educational purposes.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, fostering a positive learning environment for students.
A passion for educating others and a commitment to student success.

Pay: £36,000.00-£41,000.00 per year
