The Role

You will support Head of QHSE manager with all aspects of the Newrest UK Training and Development service. You will take ownership, accountability for meeting objectives and introducing initiatives whilst adding value to the business.

Profile

Key Responsibilities:

1.Lead on our Talent Learning Management System (LMS) by ensuring compliance to core mandatory videos and eLearning modules are completed.

2.Driving training compliance forward by reporting and attending managers operational meetings.

3.Oversee all training related compliance.

4.Responsible for implementing and overseeing completion of change management initiatives.

5.Management of overseeing all course completion certificates compliance within both airlines and the CAA guidelines.

6.Lead on apprenticeships alongside being a mentor support for our apprentices and colleagues undergoing qualifications via the apprenticeship levy.

7.Design, Deliver and Evaluate a new Leadership Development Programme.

8.Design and Build videos and digital eLearning content that aligns to QHSE and airline requirements.

9.Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders by managing these relationships and being the first point of contact for training in a fast-paced environment. Whether that is training programmes, performance management etc.

10.Review, update training policies and procedures ensuring they are in line with the current UK legislation, QHSE policies and aligned to our Newrest Non-negotiables.

11.Visit local Newrest sites to support with training issues or ad hoc training projects as required.

Experience

•Experience of working in a senior Training position.

•Experience of defining strategic direction and detailed policies.

•Demonstrated ability to effectively motivate diverse teams and drive engagement, increase capability, professional excellence, and performance.

•Proven ability to influence at a senior level.

•Certified Technical knowledge.
