Placing Talent's client is seeking a qualified and experienced Contract Clinical Coding Trainer for an exciting 1 to 2-year project based in South Wales, with the possibility of extension. This role is critical as the Clinical Coding department is implementing a new training programme aimed at advancing Band-3 clinical coders to Band-4 clinical coders. If you are passionate about enhancing clinical coding standards and facilitating growth within an established team, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities: -

Develop and deliver training programmes specific to clinical coding practices.
Assess the skills of Band-3 clinical coders and identify areas for growth.
Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages professional development.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to refine training materials and methods.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
Provide ongoing guidance and mentoring to trainees throughout the program.

Skills & Experience Required: -

TAP certified clinical coding trainer.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create engaging and interactive training materials.
Proficient in assessing performance and providing constructive feedback.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
