Are you an experienced professional in the Plumbing/Gas Engineer industry with a passion for teaching and mentoring? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Plumbing/Gas Engineer Tutor and Skills Coach to join our team.

About The Role:

As a key part of our team, you’ll have the chance to make a real difference to the lives of learners across the island. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our students by delivering high-quality tutoring sessions, providing academic support, and coaching students to develop essential plumbing and gas engineering skills.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Plumbing/Gas Engineer Tutor and Skills Coach, you will:

Teach, train, coach, assess and support students throughout their learning journey.

Use various teaching methods to promote inclusive learning for all.

Manage student records and track progress throughout their course including off the job requirements.

To create and deliver engaging learning experiences that empower students to excel in their chosen path.

To visit and observe students in their workplace to provide support, undertake periodic reviews, gather evidence, and ensure holistic learning experience.

Tailor additional support and catch-up solutions to meet individual needs and personal and professional goals.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Level 2 Qualifications in English and Maths

Level 3 Qualification in a relevant area - This must include Gas Safety registration

To hold a full driving licence, access to a car and 'business use' car insurance

Ability to maintain and adhere to Health & Safety Legislation to secure a safe Learner environment

A working knowledge of Apprenticeship standards (and/or frameworks) is desirable, but not essential
