About The Role

As a Lecturer in Digital, you will play a vital role in delivering our cutting-edge curriculum, equipping students with the skills and knowledge to thrive in a fast-evolving digital world. You will inspire and support students on their journey through the dynamic and ever-changing digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Learning Deliver engaging, student-focused teaching in Computer Science and Cyber Security.
Curriculum Development Create and implement innovative curriculum content that reflects current digital trends and technologies.
Student Engagement Mentor and guide students, fostering creativity, curiosity, and digital excellence.
Industry Collaboration Build partnerships with industry leaders to ensure our programmes remain relevant and forward-thinking.

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications A master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience Proven teaching experience in higher education, with expertise in digital technologies and methodologies.
Skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and engage students.
Innovation A passion for incorporating new technologies and creative teaching methods into the curriculum.
Industry Insight Strong connections with the digital sector and a commitment to staying up to date with the latest trends.

You should have expertise in at least two of the following areas:

Programming and Software Development Languages such as Python, Java, C++, or C#.
Web Development and Digital Marketing Proficiency in front-end tools (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular) and familiarity with back-end technologies (Node.js, Django, or PHP). Experience with digital marketing tools and techniques, including SEO, Google Analytics, and CMS platforms like WordPress.
Networking and Cybersecurity Understanding of concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and switching.
Database Systems Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Cloud Computing Experience with platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
