We are Viewpoint Accountants – Based in Chelmsford and Tiptree, working with SMEs to deliver relevant, up-to-date financial information to allow business owners to make informed decisions. Our helpful and attentive team, lead by Steve and Vicky, work closely with clients to ensure they have relevant, up to date financial information to allow business owners to make informed decisions. Possible progression to study AAT Level 4 and/or Level 7 ACCA/ICAEW after successful completion of the Level 3 apprenticeship.

Processing transactions using cloud-based accounting software, including maintaining the sales and purchase ledgers, nominal ledgers and processing all bank transactions. To include reconciling all balance sheet accounts
Preparation of accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
Maintaining client books and records on a regular basis, including preparation of VAT returns
Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients
Report directly to a Manager / Senior Manager
Working and liaising with other members in the team and colleagues in other group businesses as necessary to provide high-quality client service
Ability to multi-task and complete assignments within time constraints and set deadlines
Ability to appropriately train more junior members of staff

The successful candidate will be required to attend weekday courses, once a week, at First Intuition Chelmsford, Southend or Colchester to study towards their AAT Level 3 qualification as well as mentoring towards the Level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship knowledge, skills, and behaviours.

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
