How you'll make a difference Working with the Social Work Practice Education Advisor, you will lead the coordination and support the Social Work and Occupational Therapy Degree Apprenticeships, supporting the journey of an apprentice from recruitment, through their placements and into employment. You will complete administrative tasks such as organising information sessions, booking rooms, advertising and sending out Skills Analysis forms for placement arrangements, you will also support with planning of events and other activities for the apprentices. Liaising with the Apprenticeship Coordinator, you will support with recruitment administration tasks and monitoring progress of social work and OT degree apprentices. In the role you will manage relationships with key stakeholders such as the Higher Education Institutions delivering the apprenticeship programmes, mentors, managers, and the apprentices themselves to manage competing demands of social care teams and their priorities.This is for a limited term contract until 31 July .What will you be doing? It will be your responsibility to schedule and promote the Social Work and Occupational Therapy apprenticeship degree programme’s initiatives and resources. On a daily basis, you will maintain and curate resources, course directories, prospectus, portfolios and advertising and booking trainers and rooms. You will coordinate placement panels and workshops associated the Social Work and Occupational Therapy degree apprenticeship programmes. In the role you will co-ordinate evaluation and performance data and produce standard reports as required by the wider team and function. Part of your role will be to support apprentices where appropriate, to complete their apprenticeship successfully. You will support the Apprenticeship Coordinator with the recruitment and onboarding of social work and occupational therapy degree apprentices within the council. It will be your responsibility to ensure that the administrative processes supporting the degree programmes are efficient and effective and you will work with others within the adult social care, integrated children’s services and learning and development teams to look for ways to improve systems and processes to meet business needs. What we need from you We require you to hold a relevant qualification of a minimum of NVQ 3, 2 A levels or equivalent qualification, or equivalent relevant experience. It is essential that you have proven experience of high quality administrative work with good attention to detail. You will have excellent customer service skills and a strong customer focus in your approach to process and issue resolution You must demonstrate good initiative and judgement to resolve standard problems independently or through a support team. It is essential that you are able to build relationships and influence others based on knowledge of the service area.
