The School of Arts & Creative Industries seeks an accomplished individual with a good honours degree and higher degree, preferably a Ph.D., in Art Psychotherapy. The ideal candidate will possess significant practical and research experience, enabling them to deliver high-quality teaching, assessment, and research within the academic discipline of Art Psychotherapy.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the School's growing research activity alongside teaching as part of an Academic Contract (PhD essential) or focus on industry engagement alongside teaching through a Teaching, Scholarship and Professional Practice (TSPP) contract.
To be successful in this position, you must demonstrate:
- Strong Academic Experience: Course leadership, curriculum design, delivery, assessment, and quality assurance of learning and teaching
- Postgraduate Supervision: Experience of supervising postgraduate students
- Excellent Theoretical Understanding: Art Psychotherapy, current and emerging platforms and practices, and social, political, and economic movements and culture within the field

Key Requirements:
- Qualifications: Good honours degree and higher degree in Art Psychotherapy; Ph.D. desirable
- Experience: Significant practical and research experience in Art Psychotherapy
- Teaching: Ability to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
- Leadership: Strong academic experience of course leadership and curriculum design
The salary for this position is £42,632 to £55,295 pro rata.
