Job Title: Learning Facilitator
Location: HMP Rochester, Kent
Salary: Up to £30,291 per annum (dependent on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Learning Facilitator to join our team at HMP Rochester. As a key member of our education department, you will work collaboratively with the Education Manager and wider teams to promote and facilitate access to learning for prisoners.
Your primary responsibilities will include facilitating group sessions, providing information about available opportunities, and establishing starting points for new learners. You will also support distance learners with course administration and completion.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent IT skills and experience in supporting students or delivering information sessions. A friendly and approachable demeanor is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities

About Us
HMP Rochester is a Category C prison that holds approximately 950 adult male sentenced offenders. Our focus is on reducing reoffending and preventing future victims of crime by preparing offenders for release through accredited intervention programs, vocational training, and education.
