Business Lecturer Job Description

Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated individual to support the provision of the Business Management curriculum at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The successful candidate will work under the oversight of the Head of Department and Year Lead to manage student academic journeys, including maintaining accurate records and overall progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to module and/or course leadership to maintain quality and achieve academic excellence.
- Participate in assessment processes, including marking and moderation of work, individually or collectively as part of a team.
- Design and develop innovative resources, including e-learning materials.
- Act as a personal academic tutor to support individual learner progress.
- Ensure teaching, learning, and assessment activities meet quality assurance processes and external standards.
- Promote innovation and excellence in student education, maximizing digital and other resources.
- Carry out academic administrative duties and participate in relevant committees.
Requirements
- Masters' degree in Business Management or a related field.
- UK Teaching Experience (minimum 12 months).
- Enthusiasm for delivering high-quality education experiences.
- Proficiency in using different technologies to deliver teaching and learning.
- Excellent organizational, project, and time management skills.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position is £40,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include:
- Trips away from the office are often required.
- Holiday entitlement is 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Up to £5k annual incentives pro-rata, given quarterly upon successful probation period.
