Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Plant Ecology
Salary Range: £38,394 - £41,934 per annum (Lecturer), £44,477 - £56,292 per annum (Senior Lecturer)
This is a full-time, fixed-term contract for 6 months with a start date in February 2025.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Plant Ecology to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vegetation surveying and land use ecology, as well as research interests in these areas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to both undergraduate and postgraduate students, including designing innovative teaching methods and assessments. They will also support dissertation students in their projects and contribute to the development of our academic community.
Key skills and experience required include:
- Passion for teaching and excellent communication skills
- Ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning
- Experience in the HE sector and excellent interpersonal skills
