Lecturer in Business
As a lecturer in business, you will provide exceptional instruction in various business disciplines, including management, marketing, entrepreneurship, and strategy. Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering course materials, fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, and guiding students through complex business concepts.
You will engage in research activities, contribute to curriculum development, and participate in academic and professional communities. Your insights and experience will help shape the next generation of business leaders.
This role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess student work, ensuring all learning outcomes are met using various teaching methods and materials.
- Develop, update, and improve course materials as necessary.
- Manage and lead modules or units.
- Stay current with subject-specific and pedagogical innovations.
- Participate as a team member in engaging and retaining students.
- Attend required meetings to contribute to decision-making and develop productive working relationships.
Take an active part in staff development activities and peer observations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Hold a master's degree or higher in the relevant subject area (e.g., business, entrepreneurship, strategy, marketing, finance).
- Good knowledge of one or more areas: business and entrepreneurship, management/leadership, HRM, strategy, project management, marketing, finance.
- Previous lecturing experience in similar environments.
- Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Teaching qualifications: PGCHE, MA in HE Practice, or FHEA.
- Industry experience in your subject area; strong applicants from industry must demonstrate ability to teach at university level.
