Maths Tutor Job Description
Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a Maths Tutor to develop and deliver effective Functional Skills and GCSE lessons, maximising learner progress and achievement. We support businesses and individuals with apprenticeships, higher education, and commercial training.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is up to £26,000, which could be increased based on experience. You will also receive 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to inform learner placement on effective programmes of learning.
- Personalise learning experiences using Individualised Assessment (IA) outcomes and available information.
- Develop inclusive strategies to support learners with special educational needs, challenging behaviours, and medical needs.
- Effectively manage learner behaviour and classroom climate to create a secure and positive learning environment.
- Assess learners' progress and achievement in accordance with Company policy.
About the Role
This role involves working with class sizes of up to 15 students. The location may vary between Rochdale and Bury, with flexibility offered to suit individual preferences. Part-time, term-time, or full-time work arrangements are possible.
