About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician Specialist Education and Training with East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality education and training for pharmacy technicians. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of our staff.
This fixed-term 12-month contract offers a unique chance to make a significant impact on our organization. As a specialist in education and training, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of pre-registration pharmacy technician workforce, liaising with external organizations, and ensuring robust plans and timetables are in place. You will also be responsible for managing the educational element of apprenticeships and Science and Manufacturing programmes. The salary for this position is approximately £32,000 - £40,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have significant post-qualification experience working as a hospital pharmacy technician, including working as a MMPT and line management. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work to targets and motivate staff. In addition, they will have a strong understanding of medicines management processes, dispensing, pharmaceutical law, and patient counselling.
