Senior Lecturer in Quantitative Human Geography
We are seeking a talented and motivated scholar to join the Quantitative Spatial Science Research Group as a Senior Lecturer or Reader.
The successful candidate will bring expertise in developing, applying, and teaching geographical data analysis and statistical modelling of large datasets in areas such as urban, social, medical, political, and economic geography.
The ideal candidate will have an international reputation for research and a background in geography or a cognate discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply innovative methods of spatial and statistical analysis
- Teach and supervise students in quantitative human geography
- Pursue high-impact research that contributes to the field
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Geography or a related field
- International reputation for research commensurate with the level of appointment
- Demonstrated expertise in quantitative methods and data analysis
Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum
