The School of Arts & Creative Industries is seeking a passionate and qualified individual for the role of Senior Lecturer in Art Psychotherapy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background with a good honours degree and a higher degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Art Psychotherapy, along with extensive practical and research experience. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional learning, teaching, and assessment within the discipline of Art Psychotherapy.
- Engaging in research and scholarly activities, as well as consultancy, establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with external organizations.
- Contributing to the growth of the School’s research activities while delivering curriculum at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Supervising postgraduate students and ensuring quality assurance in learning and teaching.
Excellence in theoretical understanding of Art Psychotherapy is essential, along with knowledge of current and growing trends and socio-political movements within the field. We encourage a flexible and collaborative approach to work and the sharing of best practices.
