The School of Arts & Creative Industries is seeking a dedicated educator with a strong academic background in Art Psychotherapy. You should possess a good honours degree, a higher degree (Ph.D. preferable), and extensive practical and research experience. This position involves delivering high-quality learning, teaching, and assessment in Art Psychotherapy, alongside engaging in research and scholarly activities.
You will play a key role in shaping our growing research activities while teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This position offers two contract options: an Academic Contract (Ph.D. required) focused on research contributions or a Teaching, Scholarship and Professional Practice (TSPP) contract emphasizing industry engagement.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong academic experience in course leadership, curriculum design, delivery, and quality assurance of learning and teaching.
- Experience supervising postgraduate students.
- A thorough understanding of contemporary Art Psychotherapy practices and relevant social, political, and economic contexts.
- A collaborative and flexible approach to working and sharing best practices.
