Teesside University is dedicated to transforming lives and driving success in businesses and the economy. We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual for the role of Senior Lecturer in Art Psychotherapy within the School of Arts & Creative Industries.
As a candidate, you should possess a good honours degree and preferably a higher degree, such as a Ph.D., in Art Psychotherapy. Your significant practical and research experience will enable you to enrich the learning experience through high-quality teaching, assessment, and curriculum design at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lectures and workshops in Art Psychotherapy.
- Supervise postgraduate students and support their research endeavors.
- Conduct impactful research and scholarly activities, establishing connections with external organizations.
- Embrace course leadership and quality assurance in teaching practices.
We are particularly interested in candidates with a solid theoretical understanding of Art Psychotherapy, coupled with awareness of current trends in the field. Your ability to adopt a flexible and collaborative approach will be key to fostering a nurturing learning environment.
