About the Role
HSDC are looking for someone to manage the MIS Curriculum Services team in supporting college managers with curriculum planning, ESFA funding guidance, timetabling, enrolment and information requirements. To ensure that the College is fully audit compliant, data quality standards are of high quality and ILR deadlines are met to promote financial sustainability.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for:
- To co-ordinate data input to College Management Systems, these include but are not exclusively: Student enrolments; ILR data including achievement; Course timetables; Processing learning agreements; Rooming timetables; Course programme detail; Student transfers/withdrawals; Student register marks.
- In conjunction with the Director of MIS and Business Processes, to plan and oversee curriculum planning, ensuring a stable foundation for college budgets, contribution, utilisation and that accurate ILR records are attainable.
- To support the Data Returns officer in production of the ILR and other returns to external agencies, including ESFA, OfS and local authorities.
- To be a business partner with all college management, monitoring and analysing reports to ensure the student data is accurate and curriculum understand changes in funding, achievement, retention, and auditable evidence.
- To supervise and manage the day-to-day workload of the MIS Curriculum Services Team.
- Be an expert on all government guidance and be able to support MIS and the wider college with interpreting and understanding these rules.
Requirements
- Substantial experience of working with ProSolution or equivalent MIS/student records system
- Previous experience of working within an educational environment and understanding FE Curriculum
- Knowledge of MIS specialist systems such as FIS, PDSAT, ProAchieve and ProMonitor
- A good understanding of the current and proposed FE Funding methodologies
- Experience of leading a successful team
- Understanding of Apprenticeships and experience managing data pertaining to these learners
- Excellent attention to detail
