Job Description
You will engage with young people, supporting their behaviors and listening skills while encouraging a positive outlook towards learning. Your responsibilities will include developing activities and resources to meet the needs of students, consulting with the school lead to set targets, and reporting on progress and behaviors.
This role requires an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with young people and education. As an LMP Engagement Coach, you will deliver support, mentoring, and coaching to students in our Alternative Provision.
- Deliver activities including team-building games, building social interaction, critical thinking activities, sports, and restorative practice.
Please note that this post's main aim is to deliver support, mentoring, and coaching to students in our Alternative Provision.
Requirements
- DBS (essential)
- Coaching, Mentoring, Assessing or Teaching qualification
- Experience in delivering training and working in diverse education, community, and/or sports environments
- Experience of working with young people who are hard to engage
Working Hours and Benefits
The post is available for 5 days per week with 5 hours per day. You will also receive paid holiday and other benefits.
