We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our childcare team. In this role, you will be integral to providing a safe, high-quality care environment, ensuring stimulating and tailored play experiences that align with the individual needs of all children, in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Guiding the delivery of a diverse, high-quality environment to meet varied needs from different cultural, religious backgrounds, and stages of development.
- Devising and executing engaging experiences centered on the children's needs and interests.
- Extending comfort, empathy, and support to children and families in need of physical or emotional assistance.
- Developing areas of provision to ignite children's interest and curiosity in their respective learning endeavours.
- Regularly engaging with parents to establish strong relationships, promoting high levels of engagement and satisfaction.
- Ensuring adherence to all relevant legislation, local authority, and OFSTED requirements.
- Effectively managing the nursery through reflective practices and the development of progressive action plans.
- Collaborating closely with early years professionals and agencies such as Health Visitors and SEN services when required.
- Monitoring occupancy levels, and strategically marketing the nursery for optimal enrolment.
- Managing, mentoring, and developing all nursery staff, overseeing all facets of people management and performance.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Substantial experience in a similar role within the Early Years setting.
- Robust understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding protocols.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent team leadership abilities.
