Faculty of Health & Life Sciences / Public Health & Sport Sciences
The above full time post is available on a permanent basis from August 2025.
We welcome applications from candidates interested in working part-time hours or job-sharing arrangements. We recognise that our department would benefit from increased diversity and are committed to challenging our procedures to improve and sustain this along the talent pipeline. Whilst all applicants will be judged on merit alone, we particularly welcome applications from groups currently underrepresented in the workforce.

The successful candidate will contribute to extending the research profile of Public Health & Sport Sciences at Exeter, particularly in areas related or complementary to human movement science (biomechanics, performance analysis, and data analytics) as they apply to sports and exercise science.
We are seeking applicants who are actively engaged in performance analysis and biomechanics within sport and health contexts, as well as data scientists who can demonstrate the application of advanced data analytics, machine learning, and statistical modelling techniques to derive valuable insights from large-scale sports-related datasets.
