We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and committed candidate to join our successful CRT Engage team.
The role of the Community Employment and Skills Coach is to conduct community outreach and engagement work within the community, whilst working closely with the Health and Wellbeing Coaches’, to ensure customers are supported holistically. The role will provide: one to one and occasional group work; bespoke support to local residents living in the Meir area of Stoke. The role involves accurate completion of diagnostic assessments to identify and determine individual employability, training and specialist support needs to aid in barrier removal and create an effective action plan. This role will utilise strong caseload management skills, and the ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships.
Partnership working will be essential to ensure customers are supported holistically. The role will require networking with local community organisations to develop effective referral pathways into the programme, along with identifying effective outreach locations to meet customers in their community.
The purpose is to contribute towards the delivery of the CRT’s Strategy, England Delivery Plan and overall objectives by supporting and delivering CRT activities including: events, one to ones and workshops that respond to the challenges that exist in former mining communities.
