Welder Fabricator

What You’ll Do:

Perform fabrication, assembly, and fitting of custom parts and components, ensuring high-quality standards and meeting project deadlines.
Carry out MIG welding tasks in various positions, including vertical, horizontal, and overhead.
Operate and maintain a variety of fabrication tools.
Handle multiple fabrication projects from start to finish, maintaining exceptional quality standards both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

Proficient in MIG welding mild steel up to 12mm, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
Skilled in using a range of fabrication machinery.
Capable of interpreting engineering drawings (3rd angle projection).
Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent punctuality, and the ability to work independently with a positive attitude.
Solid knowledge of the fabrication industry, supported by time-served experience.
Possession of a full driving license.

Not needed but a bonus if they have.

Experience in TIG welding aluminum and stainless steel.
Familiarity with operating an Amada CNC press brake.
Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or extensive time-served background.
Knowledge of building bespoke, coach-built vehicles.
Proof of previous welding certifications or qualifications.
