Here at Hilti GB our large projects team are growing, and we have an exciting new role for a Project Account Manager / Technical Trainer, as a member of our major projects team. In this role, you will become a Hilti subject matter expert and build relationships with key contacts, through the delivery of technical solutions training and nurturing the opportunity to maximise the reach of Hilti products and solutions with Tier 1 contractors on the Hinkley Point C project.
This role would be well suited to you with your experience as an Account Manager, Technical Trainer or Engineer and you are excited about having receive world-class training and development with autonomy and influence, while leading on technical product solutions on the construction megaproject at Hinkley Point C.

What does the role involve?
As an Account Manager / Technical Trainer, no two days will be alike, however typically your day-to-day responsibilities will be focused on the following:
- Technical advice and training delivery: You will clearly demonstrate and educate at all levels, using your knowledge to create and develop comprehensive training packages, ahead of delivering these to Tier 1 contractors on site.
- Project Account Management: You will cultivate and nurture strong relationships and partnering with Tier 1 contractors to understand needs and solutions,presenting tailored solutions that will align with requirements, resulting in strong relationships and long-term partnerships.
- Subject Matter Expert: You will demonstrate your in-depth product knowledge and application expertise, particularly for Firestop and Nuclear Anchor solutions, to provide value-driven recommendations and demonstrations.

What you need is:
To be successful in this role you will need proficiency in technical training delivery, with the ability to learn quickly and build strong relationships.
Essential:
- Demonstratable experience as Project Account Manager, Technical Trainer or similar with proven transferrable skills.
- We are also keen to speak to applicants from an Engineering background, looking to utilise their skills and knowledge in an exciting new direction.
- High levels of curiosity and learning ability, to understand complex solutions, train others and become a subject matter expert, to convey concepts and propositions clearly and persuasively.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, enabling efficient management of training sessions, account management activities, and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, engaging with cross-functional teams and adapting to dynamic environments.
- A full, clean, manual UK driving license
- As this role will be working on nuclear projects you will need to be able to satisfy the requirements for security clearance, this includes obtaining a criminal record check both in country and abroad.
Desirable
- Experience of Nuclear Anchor and Firestop solutions or other construction, nuclear and/or industrial sectors.
- Experience in developing training content from scratch, incorporating adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Relevant technical certifications and qualifications as an Engineer and/or Trainer.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, particularly Salesforce, for effective lead management and reporting.
