Mont Rose College is seeking to employ enthusiastic and committed Lecturers in the field of Health and Social Care Practice (Leadership and Management) and Healthcare Practice (Healthcare Management). Applications are invited from individuals holding a Masters (essential) or higher qualification in a relevant subject, with an ability to teach at undergraduate level. Candidates should be highly organised with strong communication skills.
The Health and Social Care Lecturers are required in the following subject areas:

Responsibilities:
· Preparing and delivering Healthcare Practice (Healthcare Management) & Health and Social Care Practice (Leadership and Management) lecture notes at BTEC Level 4 & 5
· Supervising, visiting, and assessing students at their workplaces and/or placements
· Teaching face-to-face and remotely (if required)
· Using tools and techniques including MS Teams and Google Meet to facilitate remote teaching and learning (if needed)
· Providing tutorial and pastoral support for students across the college
· Developing and delivering on schemes of work, lesson plans, and individual learning plans to enhance the learning experience of the students
· Uploading lecture notes on the college’s VLE
· Marking coursework and providing holistic feedback (formative as well as summative) to each student
· Dealing with the students’ queries face to face and via emails
· Performing any other administrative and/or academic tasks allocated as and when required
The Candidate:
The successful candidate for the Lecturer in Healthcare Practice (Healthcare Management)& Health and Social Care Practice (Leadership and Management) post will have:
· A UK recognised teaching qualification including a PGCE or PGCHE, a Master’s degree in the relevant field (essential), and PhD (desirable)
· FHEA UK status (desirable)
· Medical doctors (MBBS), dentists (BDS), nurses, and health and social care practitioners/professionals who are interested in teaching opportunities are encouraged to apply
· Experience in teaching Health and Social Care BTEC Level 4 and 5
· A firm know-how about RQF teaching and assessing system with reference to Pearson BTEC HND Healthcare Practice (Healthcare Management) qualifications
· Experience in teaching UK / EU students
· Experience in teaching mature / adult students from diversified ethnic backgrounds including BAME students
· Ability to engage and motivate students
· Appropriate teaching experience and in depth knowledge of your particular field
· Experience of curriculum development
· Ability to work as a team member
· Experience to teach and assess remotely using various online tools including MS Teams and/or GoogleMeet etc.
