Howdens Joinery are looking for a team of Systems Trainers to work with us on a 6 month FTC. Join us on an exciting journey where you will be responsible for rolling out training into our depots for our new Account Management system alongside providing support for some of our other key digital and systems initiatives.
As an excellent communicator you must have great attention to detail and a passion for helping others to succeed. This is a fixed term contract, whilst this role will be based from our office in Raunds, Northamptonshire we can be flexible on working locations across the UK. This role will include regular travel including some overnight stays.
What Will I Be Doing As a Systems Trainer
- Delivering training programs across our depot network both in person and online
- Providing day-to-day support to depot staff, and where necessary creating training materials and resources
- Working closely with members of our technology team to support engagement when developing and delivering key strategic initiatives
- Ensuring that colleagues are proactively consulted and engaged at the appropriate time and that feedback is acted upon where appropriate to deliver world-class tools to our depots and customers.
- provide comprehensive training and support to our depots, both in person and virtually
- Assist depot staff in understanding our systems, guide them through business change, and support them during adoption.
What We Need From You
- Ideally some experience in training new systems
- Ability to translate new systems and digital features into simple and easy-to-understand training and support material for colleagues
- Outstanding communication skills; written and spoken
- Articulate with strong influencing and coaching skills
- Adaptable to changing demands and priorities
- Analytical with the ability to interpret and explain data to a diverse group with high variations in digital and commercial knowledge
- Ability to respond to changing demands and priorities
- Considers challenges as an opportunity to consider and suggest alternatives
- Results-driven and takes pride in delivering deadlines
- Ability to build solid working relationships and effectively communicate at any level
