The RoleWe are seeking a Quality & Curriculum Lead to drive excellence in curriculum development, teaching quality, and compliance across our apprenticeship and funded learning programmes. This role will focus on ensuring our programmes meet the highest standards of delivery, assessment, and learner support.
Key Responsibilities- Curriculum Development & Quality Assurance
- Lead curriculum innovation, ensuring programmes align with industry standards and learner needs.
- Oversee curriculum design for apprenticeships, Functional Skills, and other funded programmes.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted, ESFA, and awarding body regulations.
- Develop and implement a robust quality improvement strategy.
- Conduct regular course quality reviews and self-assessments.
- Teaching, Learning & Assessment
- Drive excellence in teaching and learning through observations, feedback, and coaching.
- Support tutors with professional development and best practices.
- Monitor learner progress, achievement rates, and ensure effective interventions.
- Work closely with the Lead IQA to ensure internal and external quality assurance requirements are met.
- Compliance & Inspection Readiness
- Maintain inspection readiness for Ofsted and external audits.
- Ensure documentation and reporting align with funding and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the implementation of quality assurance frameworks across all training programmes.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Line manage and mentor tutors, assessors, and curriculum staff.
- Develop and implement CPD programmes for teaching staff.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learner-focused education.
Essential Skills & Qualifications- Degree-level education or equivalent professional qualification.
- Recognized teaching qualification (minimum Level 4).
- Assessor and IQA qualifications (TAQA, CAVA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in curriculum leadership, quality assurance, and compliance in apprenticeships or funded programmes.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework and ESFA funding rules.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
