Job Role
The primary purpose of the role will be to deliver, maintain, administer & develop QCC’s accredited TSCM Training modules to non-commercial clients, in our London and Bath training centres and overseas. When not facilitating training, the individual will lead and manage TSCM teams in the UK and around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery, administration & development of Accredited QCC TSCM Training modules. Ranging from awareness to advanced TSCM training.
- Delivery of TSCM technical and physically aided assessments using various items of equipment and proven methodology, operating within all areas of the TSCM threat landscape, to global clients.
- Research & Development tasks associated to TSCM and emerging threat. Maintenance of QCC training facilities and equipment.
- Interfacing with clients and building the training client base.
- Liaison with Accreditation providers and other suppliers.
- The successful candidate with also have the opportunity to be part of the team delivering global Physical Penetration Testing Operations.
Person Specification:
Experience
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in TSCM operations or a related field (e.g., security, electronic surveillance).
- Previous Experience in delivering technical training.
- Previous expertise working in the TSCM service delivery environment.
- Beneficial – Experience in Communications/Engineering.
Knowledge
- Expertise in the latest TSCM technologies, surveillance methods, and countermeasures.
- Familiarity with RF spectrum analysis, non-linear junction detection, and other surveillance detection techniques.
- Understanding of privacy laws, regulations, and ethical considerations around surveillance detection.
Qualification and Skills
Qualifications
- Qualified Trainer Qualifications (Level 3 Award in Education & Training Preferred)
- Relevant TSCM Qualifications either Government or Commercially recognised.
- Additional qualifications in teaching or instructional design would be beneficial.
Skills
The individual must be :
- Proficient in using TSCM equipment (e.g., RF analyzers, hidden camera detection tools).
- Skilled in preparing and delivering training content using various formats (e.g., PowerPoint, video tutorials, and in-person demonstrations).
- Hold strong experience in the use of IT including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and data input onto databases.
- Able to engage with customers and contractors in a polite and helpful manner.
- Able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during training sessions.
- Quick thinking and adaptability to changing training scenarios.
- Work well in a team.
- Hardworking and have strong communication skills.
- Able to travel extensively overseas.
- Hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
