The Exciting Role
A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Trainer Assessor in Business Administration and Customer Service within our Apprenticeship Provision. Working full time you will work with a range of employers and apprentices to support their knowledge, skills and behaviour development to achieve high grades at End Point Assessment.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for quality to support our apprentices to achieve their goals.
The successful candidate will be primarily based at Accrington but may be required to travel across sites.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Deliver all elements of the assessed standards including: training, mentoring, learner reviews, timely feedback and assessment
- Deal with apprenticeship recruitment and enrolments
- Be involved in apprentice, College and company inductions
- Take a “hands-on” approach with apprentices, coaching and demonstrating best practice in line with the new Standards
- Conduct initial assessment of apprenticeship needs
- Carrying out monthly active learning and 12 weekly progress reviews with apprentices and employers.
What We Are Looking For:
- 4 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
- A1 qualification (or willingness to work towards)
- Teaching Qualification (or willingness to work towards)
- Current industrial experience/ up to date industry CPD
- Experience of delivery and assessment of qualifications in this area
- IQA qualification (or willingness to work towards)
