We are seeking a dedicated and experienced BTEC Applied Science Lecturer to join our team in East London. This is a full-time position in a secondary school, offering a competitive daily rate of £180 to £220.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality BTEC Applied Science lessons.
- Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements.
- Support students in developing scientific knowledge and practical skills.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience in teaching BTEC Applied Science at the secondary school level.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain scientific concepts clearly.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to pass a DBS check upon request.
