As a Senior Business Development Executive you will need to support the business through the development of strong relationships with new employers. To search out and contact potential employers, explaining the service we provide and increasing opportunities for learners to gain high-quality work experience placements and Apprenticeship opportunities. The key measure of success in the role will be against the achievement of company and contractual KPIs. Key Responsibilities:
- To develop a new business pipeline in assigned sectors
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with large levy employers in key service sectors
- Proactively search for new business opportunities outside the existing client base
- Engage with employers developing an alliance, understanding their business needs and strategic growth plans in order to identify opportunities to enhance potential Apprenticeship, Pre-Apprenticeship, Adult Skills, vacancies.
- Plan, organise, present and manage prospect meetings with key stakeholders up to board level to understand client needs and establish relationships
- To achieve targets set in relation to apprentice starts
- Undertake outbound call initiatives with the aim of generating appointments
- Plan sales and marketing campaigns in line with the Nova marketing plan and support local marketing activities and events and required
- Produce weekly/monthly sales reports as instructed by Senior Business Development Manager (SBDM)
- Attend networking meetings and employer led events and exhibitions to raise the profile of Nova
Requirements:
- Extensive Apprenticeship experience in business development within the sales, with proven track record
- Ability to achieve personal targets and high productivity with proven track record
- Bid writing (Desirable)
- A sound knowledge of ESFA funded programmes and the company’s offer
- Level 2 literacy, numeracy.
- Highly proficient in Google, Google Meets,
