As L&D Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategic learning initiatives that will support the company's evolving needs. This role will see you working closely with business leaders, ensuring that training efforts are impactful, aligned with company goals, and focused on both technical and developmental training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Redesign and review the performance review process for both staff and industrial employees.
- Partner with business leaders to identify and address technical training needs, sourcing appropriate training providers.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure role profiles are up-to-date and aligned with performance measurement.
- Support career development through a structured succession planning process.
- Manage online learning provisions, ensuring relevance and effectiveness for all roles.
- Establish a competency framework aligned with accredited professional bodies.
- Work alongside the Apprenticeship Manager to nurture and develop future talent.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Proven experience as an L&D Specialist with a strong understanding of learning methods and tools, including e-learning platforms.
- Background in manufacturing or engineering industries is essential.
- Experience in rolling out L&D strategies, with proficiency in competency frameworks, leadership development, and succession planning.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
