We are a small training provider based in the South West of England. We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable freelance trainer to join our team as we embark on a period of growth.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering training programmes that enhance the skills and knowledge of those attending our courses. You will need to be confident and comfortable in delivering face-to-face training. All training materials needed for delivery of all courses will be provided to you in order to ensure standardisation (excluding first aid training equipment).
This role requires a teaching and or training qualification and a strong background within the health and social care industry, although we also deliver within other sectors and this is part of our reason for growth. You will need to have excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate, and inspire others. You will be expected to promote a fun and inclusive learning environment. Having a friendly, approachable and outgoing personality is an absolute must! There will be a lot of opportunity to develop your own personal and professional development as part of this role, as we offer over 100 different courses. Familiarity with how to use the Microsoft Office Suite will be advantageous although training can be provided.
Travel is expected as part of this role within the South West of England so you will need to have your own means of transport.
Primarily, we are looking for someone to cover Mondays and Thursdays with scope to increase.
Requirements
• Teaching/training qualifications (PTTLS/CTLS/DTLS or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a trainer or in a similar role e.g. examples of feedback received from courses you have delivered would be desirable.
• An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate or proof of being on the update service.
• Own means of transport
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clarity and effectiveness.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt training methods based on audience feedback.
