Joining our level 3 engineering apprenticeship scheme, you could be involved in the following:
- Maintenance of railway infrastructure
- Inspection of track
- Working as part of a team to renew and develop new railway assets

other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Rail Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
- You will complete your apprenticeship at a training centre local to you. throughout your apprenticeship you will have assigned release so you can focus on your training
- After completing the course, you’ll not only have your NVQ Level 3 in Railway Engineering, you’ll also hold the Institute of Leadership and Management Level 3
Requirements
Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
- Any subject (grade 9-4)
- English Language (grade 9-4)
- Maths (grade 9-5)
- Science (grade 9-4)
