About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a Lecturer in Psychology to join our team at our Manchester Campus. This role will report to a Senior Lecturer in Psychology and play a key role in delivering engaging, innovative teaching while supporting students in their academic and career development.
- Deliver engaging and dynamic lectures both face-to-face and online for our students.
- Lead and develop modules, ensuring high-quality learning materials and curriculum development.
- Oversee assessment marking, design authentic assessments, and provide high-quality feedback.
- Contribute to programme development, aligning courses with industry trends and employer needs.
- Provide academic guidance and support, enhancing student success and engagement.
- Drive innovation in teaching methods, student support, and assessment techniques.
** you will be campus based for up to 4 days a week to suit the student timetable.
About You
We are looking for a passionate and experiences psychology educator who has:
- An MSc or equivalent qualification in Psychology, with Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC) recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- Experience in teaching, learning, and assessment practices in Higher Education.
- A track record of successfully contributing to programme teams and being an inspiring and creative lecturer.
- AdvanceHE Recognition (FHEA) or a willingness to achieve it within 12-18 months.
