We are looking for a qualified Beauty tutor/assessor to join our growing team in our Leeds academy. A Tutor/assessor is needed to help support learners throughout their qualifications. You will be required to provide tutoring support and complete learner assessments on all units of the Level 2 and Level 3 beauty qualifications. You will be in charge of a group of learners, supporting each individual via theory and practical based teaching. You will also engage with employers to provide support throughout their apprenticeship journey with regular reviews with them and their student.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Level 2 Beauty therapy
- Level 3 Beauty therapy
- Experience of delivering apprenticeships
- End point assessment experience
- Body massage unit
- Stone therapy massage unit
- Indian head massage unit
- Facial electrical unit
- Body electrical unit
- Microdermabrasion unit
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
- Level 4 Beauty qualification
Tutors must hold a teaching qualification. The following are acceptable:
- Level 3 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (QCF) (PTTLS)
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF)
- Level 4 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (QCF) (PTTLS)
- Level 4 Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (QCF) (CTTLS)
- Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training
- Level 5 Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (QCF) (DTTLS)
- Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training
- Certificate in Education
Assessors must hold the following:
- Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment (QCF)
- Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement (QCF)
- Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment (QCF)
- Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (QCF)
- A1 (previously D32, D33)
