This joint role is being funded by the NW Imaging Academy to develop clinical education capacity for the clinical education of student radiographers to meet projected increases in activity within medical imaging.
The role is divided into two parts. 0.8 FTE of the role will be devoted to developing and delivering simulated clinical education resources within the university setting as well as delivering other aspects of the radiography curriculum. 0.2 of the role will be allocated to working for the NW Imaging Academy on the RENEW project. This project is to work with all stakeholders in finding ways in increase clinical placement capacity for the clinical education of those undertaking radiography education programmes.
The role is fixed term. The role holder may therefore be seconded from their current role. Should the role be successful in significantly increasing placement capacity then there is a possibility the role will become permanent.
