Job Description
We are looking for an energetic and motivated lecturer to join our team on a freelance basis to lecturer on our Professional Diploma in Forensic Schedule Analysis and Delay Analysis, with a focus on P6 and determination.
The role will involve a mixture of work, including lecturing at the weekend online via Zoom helping to build learners confidence by linking back to industry-based case studies or examples. As well as marking learners’ assignments providing specific feedback as to why they have gained or lost marks.
A strong candidate will have a background in the construction industry and be able to bring their real-world experience to the learners, having worked on a variety of projects, good verbal and written skills and a consistent work ethic. The main aim of our courses is to build our learners confidence so they can progress to become an expert scheduler or expert witness.
This will be a freelance position. Work can be completed from the comfort of your own home, with interactions taking place via Zoom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Running 2 hours lectures at the weekend.
- Marking students’ assignments providing specific feedback.
- Answering student queries.
- Reviewing and editing lecture slides as needed.
Key Requirements:
- Hold relevant academic qualification ideally to degree level or equivalent.
- Preferably a chartered member of member of a recognised construction or engineering body.
- Preferably has access to Primavera P6
- Be happy to work at the weekends.
- Experience of at least 10 years within the construction industry.
- A positive can-do attitude.
- Be open-minded and able to adapt to any challenges which may arise.
