JOB OUTLINE

The role will rotate across various departments of the business, including the Production Management and Operational Excellence teams, to bridge the gaps between machine data and improvement activities and to provide, live, accessible solution using data, improvement tools and techniques. You will gain work experience whilst undertaking a Business Management Degree at Northumbria University on day release, one day per week.

YOUR TASKS

· Gain knowledge of end-to-end business processes

· Analyse data and generate statistical information to identify trends and patterns

· Translate technical data to simple language and give recommendations and conclusions to stakeholders across the business areas

· Assist in the development and implementation of operational excellence strategies and roadmaps in alignment with organizational goals, ensuring integration with business processes and systems.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction, proposing innovative solutions to address these issues.

· Assist with the research and implementation of new technologies or methodologies that can further enhance operational efficiency, staying ahead of industry trends and competitive benchmarks

· Assist in the documentation and updating of processes and procedures to ensure they reflect current best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements

· Ad-hoc projects and activities across varying departments within the business.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Candidates must meet the tariff points to gain entry to the degree apprentice programme of 112 points. Equivalent to 3 x B at A Level.

Candidates must also have Maths and English GCSE at Grade 4 or above.

SALARY OFFERED

The starting salary for this role will be £18,630 per annum. This will be reviewed during the course of the apprenticeship programme.
