We are seeking a skilled and passionate Hair and Beauty Lecturer to join our team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to share their expertise, inspire students, and contribute to the development of the next generation of hair and beauty professionals. As a Hair and Beauty Lecturer, you will deliver engaging lessons, provide practical training, and ensure that students are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in this dynamic industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lesson Planning & Delivery: Design, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons and practical sessions in various hair and beauty disciplines, including cutting, styling, colouring, skincare, and makeup.
- Assessment & Feedback: Create and administer assessments to monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to help students improve their practical and theoretical skills.
- Student Support: Provide individualised support to students, offering guidance and assistance to help them achieve their full potential in both practical and academic areas.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development of the hair and beauty curriculum, ensuring it is up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and practices.
- Classroom & Practical Training: Manage a safe and engaging learning environment, ensuring students can practice their skills effectively in both classroom and salon-based settings.
- Industry Collaboration: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and integrate these into your teaching to ensure students receive relevant and current knowledge.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- A relevant qualification in Hair and Beauty, Beauty Therapy, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
- Proven experience working in the hair and beauty industry, with significant practical experience in hairdressing, beauty therapy, or makeup artistry.
- Experience teaching or training within an educational or vocational setting is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and engage students.
- A commitment to providing a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

- A passion for the hair and beauty industry, with a keen interest in new trends and techniques.
