Reporting to the Operations Manager, the post holder will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
- Provide onshore OCTG inspection coverage as required within the UK and worldwide.
- Provide OCTG rig inspection services within the UK and worldwide.
- Ensure accurate and speedy reporting of facts relating to service visits.
- Carry out and perform all work in line with defined Field Service Procedures and company quality, environmental and health and safety procedures and standards.
- Support the region to operate as a 24/7 centre.
*The region consists of the North Sea, continental Europe, surrounding islands, and North African countries.
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform Job Card required tasks such as: OCTG pipe preparation, visual thread inspection, connection make-up supervision, pipe handling supervision, accessories inspection for customers within the UK and worldwide.
- Provide OCTG offshore inspection coverage within the UK and worldwide.
- Conduct Field Service inspection services as per Field Service procedures, running book, and customer site specific instructions.
- Travel worldwide at short notice.
- Provide and record safety toolbox talks held with labour or sub-contract personnel.
- Prepare and issue interim customer reports on time.
- Update the Field Service online database with job report data.
- Obtain signed service tickets by customers from operations.
- Conduct business in compliance with all company policies (code of conduct & ethics, safety, environment, travel, and expenses etc).
- Ensure quality of service work leading to customer satisfaction.
- Participate as required in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Respond to technical questions from customers on products and connections.
- Have the authority to accept or reject connections and/or make-up of joints at customer sites.
- Provide consultancy for troubleshooting or product integrity investigation when required.
- Identify where corrective action is required and take appropriate action where necessary.
- Propose new amendments to Field Service procedures.
- Support operations for new services, new products, and new digital services.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Working experience or further education after high school is required.
- Oil and gas experience is required.

- Assembly Make-ups.
- Rig Ready / Rig Returns inspections.
- Rig Service.
- Remote Graph Reviews.
- Witness Pressure Testing.
- Perform Yard Inspections.
- Required to meet the minimum requirements to have a competency assessment performed.
- LTR - Level 1 or 2 (if applicable).
- OPITO Internal Assessor / Internal Verifier.
