About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled English Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching to students at North Swindon College. This role requires expertise in English language and literature, ensuring students develop strong analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons at various levels.
- Assess student progress through written assignments, exams, and coursework.
- Provide feedback and support to enhance learning outcomes.
- Foster critical thinking and literacy skills in students.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery.
- Ensure compliance with educational standards and safeguarding policies.
Requirements:
- Valid work experience in English language and literature teaching.
- A teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to student success and academic excellence.
